Refund & Cancellation
This policy outlines how subscriptions, tips, and pay-per-view purchases are handled in terms of cancellations, chargebacks, and potential refunds on FanSome.
1General Digital Goods Policy
Because FanSome provides immediate access to digital content (videos, photos, writing, and custom messages) upon confirmation of payment, all purchases (including subscriptions, tips, and pay-per-view unlocks) are generally **non-refundable**.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that your credit card or payment account will be charged, and that you waive any rights to cooling-off periods or automatic refunds for digital goods, except where explicitly stated below or required by applicable laws.
2Subscription Cancellations
Subscribers can cancel their monthly creator subscriptions at any time:
- To cancel, navigate to your Subscription Settings panel, locate the active creator profile, and click "Cancel Subscription".
- Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period (the expiration date shown on your profile). You will retain full access to the creator's subscriber-only posts until this date.
- No future recurring charges will be processed for that specific subscription. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months of subscription usage.
3Refund Exceptions
We want to ensure a fair marketplace. Refund requests will only be evaluated and processed under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Technical Bugs: If a system error or processing malfunction results in duplicate charges or billing for an unsuccessful transaction, we will reverse the duplicate payment immediately.
- Creator Violations: If a creator has been permanently banned or removed from the platform for severe policy violations (e.g. fraud, copyright infringement, or safety breaches) within 7 days of your subscription or unlock, you may request a refund for that specific active transaction.
- Account Compromise: If a payment was processed due to unauthorized access to your account (hacking or card theft), we will work with you and our payment provider to resolve the fraudulent charges once proof is provided.
4Tips & Pay-Per-View (PPV) Content
Tips sent to creators are voluntary contributions and are strictly non-refundable. Pay-per-view messages or unlocked premium media items represent final transactions. Please review the pricing and descriptions carefully before completing the transaction.
5Chargebacks & Disputed Payments
If you have any billing issues, please contact our support desk directly before initiating a formal dispute (chargeback) with your credit card provider or bank. Chargeback fees harm both the platform and the creators you support.
Warning: Initiating fraudulent chargebacks, disputing clear and authorized payments, or using chargebacks to bypass our cancellation workflows will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your FanSome account and the forfeiture of any unlocked content.
6How to Request a Refund
To request an exception refund, submit a support ticket via our contact page or email billing@fansome.club with the following details:
- Your username and email address.
- Date and transaction ID of the charge.
- The name of the creator profile involved.
- A clear description of the reason for your refund request.
